Introducing FirstClass
FirstClass is similar to BBS (Bulletin Board System),
an electronic communication system for conferences, meetings,
planning and e-mail handling.
Any user can connect to first class server via a local network,
modem, or the internet using the First Class client software
or a web browser. You can log into the system and contribute
to online meetings and discussion forum. Can even share your
files for your working team or only for yourself and access
them through the internet.
With FirstClass, you can:
send and receive electronic mail (e-mail)
transfer text and graphic files so that other users
can access them
browse and send messages to online forums
organize items for easy access
publish information on the World Wide Web (www).
Depending on the way your administrator has set up your user
account, you may not be able to use all of FirstClass' features.
For example, you may be able to read messages in certain areas,
but not delete them.
If you are unclear about whether you should be able to use
a particular feature, contact your administrator.
