Erik Ström's homepage

Welcome to Erik Ström's home page. I studied Engineering Physics between 1995 and 1999 and this website was written mainly during my first year, when I found the internet a fascinating medium for me to rid myself of some extra energy.
Before I begin, I'd like to say that I play the keyboard in a Queen tribute band called Queer. At the risk of sounding immodest, we are without a doubt the best band in the world. Our website is at www.queeronline.se.
First of all, I wrote what I called The Paul Simon Jumpstation, to establish links to sites about my biggest musical idol. Due to overexposure, I have lost my obsessive interest in the Paul's life and music. Since almost all of the links I put there are no longer working, I have removed that part and only kept what I call Erik's Paul Simon page. It contains a collection of most of Paul Simon's songs with chords and lyrics, an essay I wrote for a school project and some more pages of interest for Paul Simon fans. No links.
When I was finished with the big Paul Simon project, I realized that people might want to know more about me, so I wrote a short page about my life. It was written in the fall of 1996, so it's not very up to date, but it's something.
In the summer of 1997, I reworked the website of IAR Systems, learning quite a bit about how the internet really works. Among other things, I learned a little Javascript, so I wrote a simple calculator. It's not very user friendly, but I found it amusing to write it.
I've also written the website for, Kalles Föreningsteater and my sister Susanna, who, if I may say so, is quite a talented artist. If you need a portrait of yourself, contact her. These pages are both in Swedish.
If you'd like to contact me, my email address is eriq@telia.com.
